SL13.20

Designed by the experience of more than 400 CNC machines installed worldwide, SL13.20 is the newest fully automatic scoring machine from Telmec. The sturdy structure of the system allows to reach very high speed of movements and cutting without compromising the precision.

SL13.20 features new improvements compared with the previous models. The fixing of the panels is totally new combining the classic registration pins with a clamping device resulting in a much more stable tooling regardless the thickness of the boards, with increasing of cutting precision. The same clamping device allows also to process panels without tooling holes simply using the edge of the board as reference.

 

SL13.20 performs also the automatic 90° rotation of the panel to execute the X and Y  cutting on the same cycle.  Registration pins automatically adjust to the different distances of the tooling holes from X to Y axis and from job to job. Panels are loaded from and unloaded to over self levelling stackers easily removable from the machine and supplied as standard.

A built-in exhausting system is included as standard. The SL13.20 is totally closed with drastically reduction of cutting noise. The changing of the blades has been also improved with a totally redesigned system that allows the operation to be done in few minutes without disassemble any part of the machine.

The new Windows software makes extremely easy the programming and use of the SL13.20.

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKING CYCLE

The panels to be scored are stacked over the loading self leveller stacker ( supplied as standard with the machine) on the right side. The stacker kepps always the panel on top on the seme level and assures its pre-registration using a squared corner.

From this position a loading trolley will pick it up by means of adjustable vacuum suckers and carries it to the central position where it is dirctly loaded over the regitration pins.

The two carriers of the registration pins are now totally independent. They are moved and controlled along the conveyor of the machine by two separate systems ( motors + CNC). This design allows the automatic positioning of the pins and their adjustement to match with different reference holes distances.

The pin carriers are also equipped with a clamping device that assures , once the panel is properly inserted in to the pins , its firmly blockage resulting in a more precise cutting even with thin material.

Once the panel has been clamped , it is moved along the conveyor at a controlled speed and passed through the cutting blades to execute all the cuts along this side.

Once all the cuts have been scored , the panel comes back to the central position. The clamps open and at the same time push the panel outside the pins. At this time , the central table firmly block the panel by means of vacuum holes. The same table , once the panel is released from the pins , lift it up a little bit and perform the 90° rotation.

At the same time , the pin carriers adjust their position to match with the reference holes of the second side of the panel.

The central table now moves down and load the panel again into the pins. The vacuum is released and the clamps are activated again.

The panel can now be moved along the conveyor to be scored in its second side.

Once the panel has been totally scored , it comes back again in the central position , where an unloading trolley will pick it up and brings to the unloading stacker , while at the same time the loading trolley will bring in a new panel to be scored.
