An SL2000 with 3 Cu modules and Sn module for pattern plating is going to be delivered during this month to Tecnomec,VI,Italy. The line will be installed before the end of the year and the start up is planned for January 2003.

October 2002 - SL13.20 revealed to public at EIPC 2002 in Cologne

The prototype of the new fully automatic scoring machine SL13.20 has been shown in Cologne at EIPC exhibition. The new machine is still under beta test and will be ready for shipment in march 2003.

May 2000 - Second order for SL2000

After the succesfull installation of the first unit,SERIGROUP has ordered the second SL2000 high speed plating machine.The new unit will be capable of processing 24" x 24" panel at a speed of 1 mt/min with a deposit of minimum 25 microns in the holes. The new line,as the first one,will be fully automatic and will work in line with the Direct Metalization process. Delivery of the line is expected in October 2000.

Sept 99 - First SL2000 installed at SERIGROUP.

After years of tests and a long beta test, the first SL2000 has been moved to full production at SERIGROUP,BL, Italy. The machine , despite its small size (only 2.5 mt of plating chamber), is capable of delivering 400 m2/day of full plated panel (25 microns).The machine is presently working for caution at 18 Amp/dm2 only !!! But the plan is to reach the 25 Amp/dm2 soon.

Sept 99 - L.E.D. to distribute Telmec's Products in North America. Telmec SpA and Leading Edge Devices Inc. have joined together for the distribution and support of Telmec's equipments in North America.

May 99 - A solution for plated tooling holes. There is a kit of upgrading for the SL13.9 for those companies experiencing problems with plated tooling holes. Loading and unloading panels with plated tooling holes have always been a problem. Check it out here.

March 99 - SL13.15 officially presented at IPC,Long Beach . The new SL13.15 has been officially presented at IPC 99 to Agents and Customers. Shipments of the unit to customers will start in April 99.

January 99 - Successful installation of the first CNC scoring machine at LG Factory in Osan,Korea. The first of a series of fully automatic CNC scoring machines has been successfully installed in the huge PCB plant of LG Electronics in Osan,Korea. LG Electronics is one of the three largest PCB plant in Korea.

December 98 - Successful test of the SL13.15 . A new equipment to complete the scoring process is going to be released by Telmec. The new SL13.15 has passed the tests at the Telmec factory and a first unit is going to be delivered to a beta site. The new equipment will be officially presented at IPC EXPO 99 in Long Beach,CA.

February 98 - Telmec's Scoring Output Format available on BARCO CAM Stations. Customers who own a BARCO Cam Station can now upgrade it to generate scoring programs for Telmec Machines SL13.7 and SL13.9 directly on their CAM. Programs can be downloaded from the net by the machine or simply transferred to it by means of floppy disks.

September 97 - TELMEC KOREA OPENED IN SEPTEMBER

In order to render more effective its presence on the large and booming Korean market,Telmec SpA has established TELMEC KOREA. Located in Inchon,TELMEC KOREA will provide scoring service to Korean customers and it will work as demo facility for Telmec equipments.
The service will be provided with a fully automatic SL13.9 CNC scoring machine.
TELMEC KOREA is an independent company formed by a join-venture among Telmec SpA, A-Tech,an important Korean trading in the PCB industry and DONG-A one of the major PCB manufacturer in Korea. The opening ceremony took place on September 18 with the participation of Dr G.Dall'Ora from Telmec Spa, Mr M.G.Bong, president of A-Tech and Mr S.H.Lee, president of Dong-A.
The opening ceremony has been followed by two days of "open house" visited by more than 100 people from the major Korean PCB Manufacturers.
