the factory Based in the industrial area of Milan, Telmec was founded by Mr. Sergio Sala in 1979 as a manufacturer of galvanic systems and gold plating equipments for the PCB industry. Around 1982 Telmec shifted also its focus on the manufacture of equipment for scoring, a process which spread out quickly to become the PCB industry's most commonly used depanelling system. Today Telmec is privately own by Mr Sergio Sala,President and by Dr Andreotti and Dr G.Dall'Ora who are the driving force of the company.Telmec has an international sales and service network with agents across Europe,Far-East, North and South America. Telmec's equipments are installed all over the world from Sweden to South Africa, from New Zealand to Brazil. Telmec has also a joint-venture agreement with a Brazilian company for the local production of its proprietary gold plating systems. These are also manufactured under licence by an Hong Kong company for the Chinese market.
Dr Andreotti and Dr Dall'Ora Continuous technological innovation is one of the company's major strategies keeping it competitive within the electronics industry. In fact nearly 10% of the company's turnover is destined for technological investments, allowing Telmec to consolidate its competitive advantage all over the world as a leading supplier of high-performance systems for PCB manufacture.

During year 2000 ,after years of test and trials the new revolutionary Cu plating machine SL 2000 has been introduced to the market. This machine uses Telmec's new patented technology for the high speed electrolytic plating of copper and some of the machine's features make it considerably more advanced than the traditional galvanic lines it has been designed to replace.
